Beyond the Job was built to solve one of the biggest challenges in UK apprenticeships: off-the-job training. Our aim is to turn it from a compliance burden into a structured, rewarding journey that builds real evidence of growth.
Our Mission
Every apprentice is entitled to, and is required to complete, a number of off-the-job training hours. This is time dedicated to learning, building and developing evidence of competence.
But tracking those hours, planning meaningful activities, and producing quality evidence is hard. Too many apprentices struggle with spreadsheets, vague guidance, and uncertainty about what actually counts.
Beyond the Job exists to change that. We provide a complete, structured toolkit that makes off-the-job training clear, manageable, and genuinely valuable — for apprentices, employers, and training providers alike.
